What a fantastic start to Term 3! We have been having a lot of fun so far this Term, and are looking forward to all the great things we have coming up. A big welcome to Miss Kenny who teaches us on a Wednesday! Here are just a few of the things we have been doing so far....
God Bless. :)

Recently we all took part in jump rope for heart. This involved skipping in the afternoon for a certain period of time. We had relays, time trials, double dutch jumping and freestyle, it was a fantastic success.

Rory has been coming in to teach us how to play basketball, we had a great time!

Wow what a great day this was- Jackson`s Mum and Dad managed to get the highlanders cup to school! Some of us even got to touch it, thank you Tony and Sandy!

This week in room 4 we read the story Mr Beast. We looked in particular at the images and describing words used that help to paint pictures in our minds of haunted houses. We each came up with our own descriptions of a haunted house and then drew our own houses using pastels, water pastels and water.

 God bless- Room 4. :)

                              Welcome back for Term 2!

This week in Room 4 we have been looking at ANZAC Day and those who fought for us. On Monday Miss Devaney gave each table group a picture of something to do with ANZAC that had been cut up and we had to put it back together. After we had completed the jigsaw we then had to make a statement for each picture about what was happening in the pictures.

Today we had Mrs Zoutenbier-Bisset teaching us. She did a fun writing task with us! We got given pictures and used a 5 W`s chart (What, Who, Why, When, and Where) to put down all of our ideas about the picture. Then we drafted a story about our picture and published it.
